We are seeking a motivated and results driven individual to grow and maintain our customer base, some of which have been in place for fifty plus years.
As a small business, our national sales manager is involved in executive management decisions along with the president, CFO, and plant manager. Major responsibilities/duties:
*Evaluate current customer base, product lines, and services. Write a three year sales plan that includes servicing existing customers, defining new customers, and targeting new prospects.
*Grow product lines
*Identify and co-manage launch of new products and services
*Participate in executive management decisions; recommending new markets, new products, new services, and other ideas for significant change
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
*Contact primary, existing customers as necessary for maintenance
*Source new opportunities within the food and jan/san markets
*Develop vendor partnership style relationship with all customers providing solution oriented customer service
*Service the current customer base including walk in, pickups and any inquiries
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
*5 years selling experience in either industial sales, food processing, and/or meat industry
*Proven sales record of sales at premium margin and not price (margin selling)
*Exceptional organizational skills, specifically in sales reporting. Past examples will be required in the interview process
*Pro-active and a true "go-getter", who is comfortable working independently
*Excellent computer skills with experience working with contact management software. Past examples of contact management applications will be required in the interview process
