Our client is a leading manufacturer of custom, private label products, a full service manufacturing and service provider specializing in dairy and vegetable proteins, and nutraceuticals. With a state of the art research and development technical center and manufacturing facilities. Also manufactures pasteurized processed and imitation cheese, specializes in dairy and vegetable proteins, nutritional powders, tablet pressing and ready-to-drink beverages( for example; muscle-building and weight-loss powders). Its customers include makers of the nations top-selling branded food and beverage products.

Located in the heart of America's dairyland, offering grand tradition and deep pride of generations of dairy farmers. Company is well respected and aggressively growing, a division of a much larger multi-billion dollar parent food company. They have four manufacturing facilities with over 400 employees and serves customers in more than 45 countries.

Requirements

Vice President of Sales - Midwest

They are looking for a Vice President of Sales to head up and lead all of the companies sales.

Ideal candidates would have:

Bachelors degree required; Food Science or similar field highly desired
10 - 15 years of sales experience - to include: ingredient sales, business to business, industrial sales, contract manufacturing, private label
Good communication and leadership skills
Ingredient knowledge
Sports nutrition experience a plus
Position will report directly to the President with 10 direct reports.
