Quality Assurance Manager - Eastern region

Major Responsibilities:

To provide leadership and manage Quality Assurance through out plant.

Conduct annual performance reviews
Assure safe food products through use of SPC, HACCP and TQM
Develop, implement, maintain Food Safety Programs; HACCP, SOP, GMP
Lead any customer or 3rd party Quality or Food Safety audits

Requirements
Required Skills: Ability to manage teams in fast paced production oriented environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Required Experience: BS in food science, biology, microbiology or related field Five years in managing quality in a protein processing environment -highly preferred Thorough knowledge of food safety programs including HACCP and GMP principles
