Description

Leader in food and dietary supplement powdered product innovation! Well established company offering customized support in the powder product development process from bench top through the pilot plant and scale up stages. Industries served include medical foods, functional beverages, and sports/nutrition supplements.

Play a significant role in the entire commercialization process for all business segments including contract manufacturing, private label, and specialty ingredients. Critical technical and commercial resource in attaining company goals in powdered product innovation.

Requirements

-Bachelors degree in Food Science or Chemistry

-5+ years of experience in process R&D in a food, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical setting.

-Experience with powder formulation, processing, and handling, preferably in agglomeration, granulation, spray drying, and encapsulation.

-Experience working with the operations group in a plant environment.

-Understanding of Lean, 5S, 6-Sigma methodologies a plus.

-Knowledge of food and dietary supplement GMPs, SQF or ISO a plus.

Convenient southern Minnesota location. Relocation is supported.
