Newly created position! Provide leadership and direction for key business unit. Coordinate multi-site quality program. Work closely with internal Quality and Production partners, R&D, Suppliers, and Co-packers to develop and maintain quality systems. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement; monitor key supplier performance metrics; and ensure success toward key performance indicators such as product quality, 3rd Party Audit scores, and defects or complaints per million.
Requirements
-Bachelors degree in a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
-10+ years quality management experience in the food or beverage industry.
-Multi-site quality management experience.
-Lean Manufacturing experience.
-Experience with leading and participating in cross functional teams.
-Aptitude for Design Of Experiments, Analysis of Variance, SPC deployment, and use of quality tools.
-Willingness to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours.
-Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-CQM or CMQOE, and HACCP certification a plus.
-ISO 22000 and SQF experience a plus.
