ELECTRONIC MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - CHICAGO
Crucial position within organization in their Maintenance department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, industrial plant, or other establishment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Conducts, schedules, maintain, install and performs programming to PLC's
Trains and directs employees in the repairing and diagnosing malfunctions of equipment and control systems. Recommends mechanics for additional outside training.
Actively participates in troubleshooting repairs with subordinates and department heads.
Coordinates, implements and maintains, inventory control, requisition parts, and machinery costing and repair data using CMMS program.
Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 - 5 of experience - food industry - highly preferred
PLC knowledge and experience
Ability to be hands on
Mathematical Skills - Able to apply math concepts
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills- knowledge of Database software; Development software; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
