YOUR DAY AS A COFFEE HOUSE SHIFT LEAD
As a Coffee House Shift Lead, you have the important job of setting a shining example of customer service for both our customers and your team. Each shift, you tackle a variety of tasks to ensure that everything runs smoothly in our restaurant. Closely following our recipes, you prepare delicious drinks, smoothies, and teas as well as do some light food prep. You also enter customer orders into our point-of-sale system and maintain a balanced cash drawer. While you're at it, you maintain great relationships with our customers, many of whom make us a daily stop!
As part of your duties, you train new hires and teach our staff how to prioritize and be self-sufficient. Maintaining quality standards is also crucial, so you keep a close eye out to ensure that we are in constant compliance with company policies and food service regulations. You check over product deliveries, hold the keys while on shift, and act as a go-to for any issues that arise. In short, you are vital to our operations, and you thrive in the fast pace of your job. WHAT WE NEED IN A COFFEE HOUSE SHIFT LEAD
- Six months + of leadership experience, preferably in a coffee house, high-volume restaurant, or drive-thru environment
