Location: Central Oregon area

· Prepare monthly actual compared to budget variance reports and Management Discussion and Analysis Reports for the NW Farm Manager and the Farm Directors. Meet with the farm leadership as needed (at least monthly) to review reports and to answer questions beyond the MD&A Report.

· Partner with the farm leadership to develop regular communication channels with them so that the management team can meet business information needs.

· Mentor, train and hold the Farm Controller and his team accountable for all duties. Work with the Farm Controller to develop systems and reports that provide management with the information needed to improve their management decisions to enable more effective and timely reporting and financial strategy.

· Prepare annual budgets and periodical forecasts of the farm operations and combined Northwest Entities.

· Prepares the lead schedules and assists the CFO with the annual audited financial statements

· Assist with tax planning.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business, CPA or CMA certification helpful.
  • 7+ years of analysis, supervisory and budgeting related experience in agribusiness or food and dairy manufacturing.
  • Familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Possess excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented along with coaching and management experience of a professional business team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to be resourceful in solving problems independently
  • Excellent computer skills including strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, credit check as well as provide business references.
