Job Description

 

Our client is a rapidly growing mid-sized food manufacturing with an immediate need for a Corporate Process Controls Engineer. This position will manage all controls and automation systems for several production facilities. Reports directly to the Sr Automation Engineer, a person we placed with the company several years ago. This is a great opportunity for a plant controls engineer to step up to a corporate level role. Great cost of living area with truly world-class outdoor activities.

Responsibilities: As the Corporate Process Controls Engineer, you will manage projects involving PLC controls and software-based automation systems. Will develop, implement and verify PLC systems in production and packaging areas. Interacts with other members of the engineering department, corporate IT, Operations, QA and Supply Chain.

Compensation: Market level salary with benefits and full relocation provided.

Job Requirements
BS degree in an Engineering field. 10+ years in controls engineering in a manufacturing setting with a strong preference for food manufacturing. Previous experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens controls, strong knowledge of FactoryTalk Suite and other support systems. Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally. Strong project development and management skills.
