Job Description

Working for a leading SE WI producer and distributor of popular soft drinks and other beverages, the Procurement Coordinator will manage major supplier transitions, new product launches, and conversions of printed and unprinted materials. This individual will also develop negotiation, process, and program improvement skills by having a directed focus on improvements in the company's indirect spend categories. This position is geared towards entry-level candidates.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Coordinate the development of enhanced processes to track and manage material transitions.
  • Interact with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure successful execution of brand programs and graphic transitions.
  • Communicate directly with material suppliers to gain transparency into inventory levels ahead of major transitions.
  • Analyze proposals and develop business award recommendations.
  • Develop and communicate corporate indirect spend programs that best suit the needs of the organization.
  • Place purchase orders for indirect materials.
  • Maintain material cost records in the Enterprise Resource Planning System.
  • Run and distribute weekly reports internally.


Job Requirements

Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain management.
Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, or Operations Management.
Prior Internships in related fields would be a plus.
Proven history of ability/desire to take initiative and complete projects in a timely manner.
Strong verbal and written communication as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
Team player with a “can do” attitude and process improvement mindset.
Good knowledge of PCs and Microsoft software.
Required travel up to 10%.
