Glyph, our first commercial product, is modeled after barrel-aged whiskey but made overnight using our innovative technology.

About the Role
The Marketing team at Endless West seeks a Trade Marketing Manager (TMM) that is motivated by the unique opportunity to help us build and scale our new and fast growing B2B Commercial portfolio with global suppliers, manufacturers, and co-manufacturers.

The TMM will provide direction and execution of critical below-the-line marketing support that will enable the sales team to hit goals against volume, distribution, pricing, merchandising and lead generation initiatives.

The TMM is the primary communication link between the marketing and sales team. The TMM will be responsible to act as an advocate for the sales team to ensure that appropriate resources are available and communication channels are open to guarantee successful execution.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will play a central role within the marketing department and represent the team in cross-functional initiatives.

About the Candidate
You’ll have an excellent understanding of how the Wine|Spirits|Beer business model and supply chain operates - and have experience in developing and executing co-marketing initiatives with partners within the industry. As an external partner facing role - the candidate must have outstanding interpersonal, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

You’re a strategic thinker with entrepreneurial instincts, and thrives in generating efficiencies by connecting the dots between projects, initiatives and goals. You have a track record of running successful trade shows and customer events in both in-person and virtual environments.

Go-To-Market: Drive to Commercialize
Serve as the MarCom liaison, champion, and extension to the Commercial Sales team to ensure strategy alignment, program visibility, and achievement of target outcomes.Develop critical commercial selling tools (i.e., 1pgrs, selling decks, etc.) for the sales team on a planned and ad-hoc basis. Develop with the marketing and graphic team best-in-class pro-active and client presentations, from brainstorming, concept development, research, visual/graphic to final execution and presentation.Author and leads the development of the localized marketing plan congruent with national strategy. Directs below-the-line tactics toward the appropriate consumers and customers.Lead agency partners to develop relevant marketing materials for commercial use. Inclusive but not limited to: POS, VAP, digital advertising, digital content, e-commerce, social, print, signage, radio, etc.Broadcast digital assets to relevant distributor partners ensuring the Endless West and its brand are properly represented on the “digital shelf” and within key account digital programming.Develop and manages the national sampling programs (Off and On-Premise) for the Endless West portfolio of brands. Analysis ROI based on defined KPI’s per program. Manages and evaluates the lead agencies.
Operational Duties
Oversee the evaluation of all incremental spending requests and serve as the liaison with the appropriate cross functional groups to stimulate action on requests which are consistent with strategy.Ensure timely, accurate, and actionable communication concerning any request from Fields Sales and/or any initiative requiring action by field sales.Work closely with Finance to gain alignment on trade spending initiatives.Work closely with Consumer Marketing to develop and deploy corporate initiatives and budget processes relative to volume and consumption.Effectively manage administrative responsibilities including information requests, competitive intelligence, results tracking and analysis, forecasts, deduction management, etc.Conduct post-promotional analysis on a customer basis to assess the impact of promotions and make appropriate adjustments to refine and improve.
Lead Generation: Trade + Customer Events
Act as the lead on all Trade + Customer Events (i.e., trade shows, distributor sales meetings, etc.)Work closely with MarCom team to deliver impactful partner engagement through events, content, and joint-promotion experiences and channels.Work closely with the sales and R&D teams to identify key trade events - then set the goals, programming strategy. budget, content overlay, and customer experience mapLead the logistics management component with agency support where needed. You will utilize exceptional project management skills to deliver events in line with overall program strategy, serve as a communication leader, and drive customer acquisition/retention efforts in partnership with your sales counterpart. Your role will be to ensure all stakeholders, vendors, agencies and show managers are working together to deliver a high-quality event with maximized ROI.Align with MarCom Team, PR agency, and Sales on strategies and tactics to extend reach, increase responses and conversion rates, close deals faster, and drive increased ROI with and through partners.
20-40% (will vary depending on the impact of the pandemic on travel and events)
Self-Starter. Independent. Reliable.BA/BS Required; MBA Preferred.5+ years of work experience within the Wine, Spirits, and Beer industry.5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Marketing, B2B Marketing, Business Development, or Strategy within the FMCG industry.3-5 years of agency management experience.Strong understanding of both B2B marketing, B2B2C marketing, commercial promotional programming, and trade events management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and correctly prioritize multiple projects.Experience in creating selling materials (i.e., sale sheets, decks, etc.) for sales teams.Highly analytical and data driven - experience in using and analyzing consumption data (i.e., iRI, Nielsen), and Tableau (or comparable) for shipments/depletions/distribution data.
